Sevak Solutions is a 501c3 non-profit organization that was established to support economic development in emerging markets. The company is promoting technology innovations as well as pioneering business models and collaborative efforts to dramatically increase the scale of financial services to the world’s urban and rural poor. Special emphasis is placed on creating viable, affordable solutions for those financial institutions that are unable to link into the formal financial sector due to communications, technical, or operational limitations.
Our mission is to extend the reach of financial services to the world’s poor from the 120 million currently being served to the 1.7 billion working men and women who live on less than $2 a day.
Providing consulting services within the financial sector is one of Sevak Solutions core lines of business. We specialize in the role that information and communications technologies (ICT) can play in reaching unbanked populations. Sevak Solutions partners with government agencies, donors, companies, and other non-profits to create innovative solutions that stimulate market growth.
The company is expanding its portfolio of start-up and early stage technology companies from the around the globe that are building businesses to meet the needs of underserved markets at the same time they seek financial return. Sevak Solutions supports these companies through a range of activities that help them find the expertise,
locate capital and resources, and
implement pilot projects they need to grow their businesses.
Sevak Solutions is primarily funded through grants, government contracts, and other charitable sources.
